My family had planned a picnic to Chatsworth house. There were 7 families going including us. We went to the bus station then we met all the families, we waited for the bus to come.
It was a long drive; we passed many big hills in the country side and a lot of sheep!!! It was a very noise drive. We ate potato rings, mc vites and jam biscuits. Then we reached Chatsworth House, we were in the parking there were like a 100 cars there and we were just shocked. There were some stalls with flowers and some had refreshments too. Then we went in a line for the tickets, we took tickets only for the garden. We got some sheets. We had to find 15 ducks all over the garden. At the start we found 2 ducks then we found 3 ducks, on the 6th clue we found the duck near the fountain. We went in the water. First it was freezing cold but then we got the hang of it and found some more ducks to find but it was lunch time we had a variety of food, it was real tasty then we had some ice- cream but we din’ t have any more time left to find the 4 ducks because it was home time.It was such fun at Chatsworth and I liked it a lot.
